Eric and Dora

Every Other Sunday was thrilled to be a part of Eric and Dora’s wedding at The Hitching Post of Maine in Dayton.

It looked like the rain was going to hold off, but as guests were getting settled in the outdoor ceremony space, the sky opened up and it started pouring. With some help from several guests, we were able to quickly shift the wedding inside and Eric and Dora had a beautiful ceremony where they exchanged vows that were both touching and humorous.

Eric and Dora shared their first dance to ‘Fire’ by Augustana. After dinner, the party got started and we spent the night playing for a very appreciative group! Once special moment was when we played ‘Time in a Bottle’ for Dora’s parents. This is ‘their song’ and it was really nice to share it with them.

We found every other Sunday by chance through searching on the knot and weren’t sure what to expect. We could not be happier with what we got! They were so thoughtful about planning with us and willing to learn any songs we needed. Mike played during the ceremony which was a great touch and everyone remarked how much it added. The band sounded great, had people dancing, and even took requests. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience with Every other Sunday, it made the day!
