Ben and Kasey

June 20th was a beautiful day for a wedding, and Every Other Sunday was excited to head to Mountain House On Sunday River in Newry to celebrate with Ben and Kasey.

Mountain House On Sunday River is a great outdoor venue with a stunning view of Sunday River. EOS arrived at the venue in the early afternoon to start setting up. The band was in a breeze barn in front behind the dance floor. It was a great set up to allow for maximum dancing!

After the ceremony and a great dinner provided by Rooster’s Roadhouse, the party got started!

Ben and Kasey and their guests were a ton of fun. They requested that we learn a couple songs that had special meaning to their group of friends.  ‘Colder Weather’ by Zac Brown Band and ‘Motorcycle Drive By’ by Third Eye Blind. When we played those particular songs, it was great to see the obvious bond these friends shared.

We ended up pushing the 10 p.m. curfew a little bit, but when the wedding guests are dancing and singing along, it’s hard to shut the party down.

We had a great time playing for Ben and Kasey’s wedding and we look forward to returning to Mountain House on Sunday River someday soon!
